When it rains without a break and it seems like it’s already autumn, I like to remember beautiful moments from my trips. This time I want to share with you some memories from spectacular Venice..
“Venice is beautiful, but like a Bergman movie is beautiful; you can admire it, but you don’t really want to live in it” – said Elizabeth Gilbert in her book Eat, Pray, Love and I can’t disagree with that. Venice is magical city on the water with intricate labyrinth of streets and canals and it’s really easy to get lost there. I have no idea, how people can live in these narrow streets without a sunlight – buildings are so high that some places are always submerged in darkness. Of course it’s one of the reasons why Venice leaves such a mysterious and exciting impression. This city for me was like a dream, everything around me seemed to me like a scenic illusion and I didn’t want to wake up from this..
